This is what I’m surprised I like . . .

Growing up, I never, ever, liked the colour Green – it was always the last colour I chose for anything. My mum loved (and still loves) that colour and I used to wonder why, oh why? But somehow it has grown on me over the years and now, when given a choice, I usually pick it – or specifically, chartreuse – over all the other colours. I think it’s refreshing, serene and happy. So weird.

Thank you Victoria for the fun theme this week, and thank you Angela for the meme :-)
Over the weekend, Simmy and Sid finally received their little teddies:

And Woodland Girl Nikki was completed as a gift for a wonderfully supportive and generous gal. She’s made from Japanese fabrics, my favourite woodgrain print, and a vintage button.

I tend to opt for safe colours, but green is really my favourite colour of all time. That being said I am wearing a t-shirt that’s chartreuse as i type !
Looove your softies, they’re so much fun.

oh i can so relate to the ‘i once hated green statement!’ our all girls school uniform was green but not a nice shade of green a hideous bottle green (that looking back now is the best type of green for the uniform) but teamed with brown stockings or socks. eeewww i like your choice of green though very refreshing. xx

I also am a new green lover. I particularly love chartreuse and I have a chartreuse raincoat I adore. I also must say I love your spotty woodland doll very much!

I hated green for so long but now I’m….well open to it at least. There’s tons of different shades so I can usually find one I like.
