Posted Monday 27 February 2012 and filed under: In My Sketchbook

I had some time on the weekend to just sit and draw, with nothing in mind as to what the finished object would be. A few lines later and I had the outline of a woman walking. She had short hair and a dress. A few minutes later, she ended up having a geometric pattern on her clothing. And oh, an eye patch!

So maybe she’s an undercover Pirate? Or secret Super-hero? Or as I replied to my youngest when she asked me why the girl had an eye patch: “She just had surgery on her eye.” Um, yes, not the most creative explanation….
